Jackie Adrian is a visual artist and author. She has lived in six states across the US and, briefly, New Zealand. Wanderlust has taken her to more than 30 countries. This slightly nomadic existence has affected her art and writing, giving her perspective on the stabilizing or “root” commonalities found in different cultures and landscapes. Her art and writing aim to celebrate this unity with vivid color combinations and uplifting words of affirmation.
After earning a degree in Marketing, and then an MBA, she worked in marketing and business development for 20 years. The shift to art kept calling, so in 2021 she started slowly drifting more toward her artistic visions which impact what you’ll see today. Starting a small online shop to share her art, and publishing her first two books in 2023, she has many more layers to share in different mediums. She resides in the DC suburbs with her husband, two young boys, and a large, floppy goldendoodle named Macho.
