Meet Jackie Adrian
Jackie Adrian was born in Iowa and since has lived in five more states and, briefly, gorgeous New Zealand. Along with these impactful moves, travel has been life-giving to her as she has enjoyed excursions in more than 30 countries. This slightly nomadic existence has affected her art and writing, giving her perspective on the stabilizing or “root” commonalities we can find in different cultures and landscapes. Her art and writing aim to celebrate this with vivid color combinations and uplifting words of affirmation.
After earning a degree in Marketing, and then an MBA, she worked in marketing and business development for 20 years. The shift to art kept calling, so in 2021 she started slowly drifting more toward her artistic visions which impact what you’ll see on this site today. Starting a small online shop to share her art, and publishing her first book in 2023, she’s just getting started and has many more layers to share in different mediums. She resides in the DC suburbs with her husband (Ryan), two young boys (Adrian and Luca), and a large, floppy goldendoodle (Macho).
